Santos Escobar appears to be exiting WWE, per new information from Fightful Select.
Santos Escobar hasn’t wrestled since the WWE SuperShows in Mexico in July 2025. He hasn’t wrestled on official WWE programming since wrestling Rey Mysterio in May 2025 on WWE SmackDown.
New information provided to Fightful Select from WWE sources indicates that Escobar’s contract expires at midnight on October 7, and it appears he will be leaving the company, as they made overtures to him that he declined.
WWE sources confirmed to Fightful Select this morning that Santos Escobar’s contract is up “very soon,” and it hasn’t looked like he’ll be staying with the company as of now… In an update, WWE sources say that Santos’ deal will be up at midnight.
