Santino Marella Competing In TNA vs. NXT Steel Cage Match, Battle Royal For World Title Shot, More Set For 12/18 TNA iMPACT

The next episode of TNA iMPACT is airing on December 18th, and on the marquee is a Team NXT versus Team TNA Steel Cage match. On the 12/11 show, there was a singles match between Matt Cardona and Lexis King to determine which team would get the advantage in the cage match. NXT’s Stacks helped King secure the win, and then they injured Cardona post-match. With one man short on TNA’s side, the Director of Authority Santino Marella announced that he’d be filling in for Cardona. The cage match will see Team TNA (Mike Santana, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Steve Maclin & Santino Marella) versus Team NXT (Stacks, Lexis King, Brooks Jensen, Tyson Dupont & Tyriek Igwe).

There is going to be a Battle Royal on 12/18 to determine who challenges Frankie Kazarian for the TNA World Championship on the January 1st edition of TNA iMPACT. There is going to be a World Title match on the Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC premiere on January 15th as well. Also, Kazarian is advertised to be defending the TNA World Title against Mike Santana at TNA’s Genesis pay-per-view on 1/17.
