Samoa Joe Stretchered Out Of AEW All In After The Opps Retain Trios Titles

Samoa Joe went from the high of winning to the low of not being able to stand on his own two feet at AEW All In.

The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, & Katsuyori Shibata) retained their AEW Trios Championships against The Death Riders (Gabe Kidd, Claudio Castagnoli, & Wheeler Yuta) in the opening contest of AEW All In.

The finish saw Joe hit the Muscle Buster on Yuta for the victory.

In a standout moment from the match, Hobbs caught Yuta with a powerslam as Yuta was going for a doomsday device.

Though The Opps were victorious, it was the Death Riders who walked out with their heads held high. After the match, the Death Riders attacked The Opps and singled out Joe as their target.

The Death Riders wrapped a chair around Joe’s head and neck, and Claudio stomped down, leaving Joe motionless in the ring.

Joe was loaded out of the ring on a stretcher by AEW medical officials as Hobbs and Shibata looked on with concern.

This was the first successful title defense for The Opps. They won the titles from Claudio, Yuta, & Jon Moxley on the April 16th episode of AEW Dynamite.
