Sami Zayn, Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Bianca Belair, More Appear At NXT Homecoming

Former NXT superstars and more were on hand for NXT Homecoming.

Former NXT Champion Sami Zayn appeared at NXT Homecoming, speaking in a backstage segment and praising Je’Von Evans. Zayn was confronted by Josh Briggs, who was attacked by Evans. Zayn spoke with Evans, saying that it doesn’t come easy for guys like them, but that the sky is the limit.

Former NXT North American Champion Damian Priest appeared in a backstage segment, giving advice to Tavion Heights and announcing that Heights will challenge for the NXT North American Title against Ethan Page at NXT No Mercy.

Former NXT Champion Bobby Roode made a glorious appearance in a backstage segment with Charlie Dempsey and Wren Sinclair. Joe Hendry also appeared, and Roode told him that he was proud to see Hendry with the TNA Title at WrestleMania and that Hendry should have his eyes on the NXT Title.

Former NXT Champion Finn Balor entered to his original theme song, interrupting Lexis King and hitting the Coup De Grace.

Former NXT Tag Team Champion Montez Ford appeared backstage, speaking to DarkState (Cutler James, Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, Saquon Shugars)

Bianca Belair appeared in the crowd before the main event.

Though he was never part of NXT, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner was in attendance, sitting front row for Ethan Page defending the NXT North American Title against Tyler Breeze.
