Roman Reigns Returns On WWE Raw

Roman Reigns made his return to WWE TV on the July 14th episode of WWE Raw.
Reigns came out following the main event, which saw CM Punk win a gauntlet match to secure a WWE World Heavyweight Title match against Gunther at WWE SummerSlam.
After the match, Bron Breakker, the man Punk pinned in the final match of the gauntlet, wiped out Jey Uso, who helped Punk in the match, and Punk with a spear.
Bronson Reed, who interfered on behalf of Breakker in the gauntlet, was setting up for a double tsunami splash with Reigns’ music hit and “The Original Tribal Chief” made his way to the ring.
Reigns hit Reed with a superman punch before taking down Breakker.
Reed tried to help his partner, but Reigns dropped him with a samoan drop. Reigns took out Breakker with a superman punch before hitting a spear on Breakker.
With the ring cleared, Reigns helped Jey to his feet and stood alongside Punk as the show closed.

This was Reigns’ first appearance on WWE TV since the night after WrestleMania 41 when he was taken out by Seth Rollins and Breakker. Reigns competed at WrestleMania 41 in a triple threat match against CM Punk and Rollins. Rollins won the bout after Paul Heyman betrayed Reigns and Punk, officially aligning with Rollins.
During his time away from WWE TV, it was reported that Reigns would be playing Akuma in the upcoming Street Fighter film. Fans can learn more about the role here.
