RJ City reveals the reasons Hey! (EW) was canceled by Tony Khan.

For the last several years, RJ has hosted the show known as Hey! (EW) almost every Sunday, inviting roster members and backstage hands for a sit down interview where he would ask various ‘hard hitting’ questions. However, earlier this week it was announced that today’s episode of the show would be it’s last, and now RJ has explained why.

While speaking on the final episode of Hey! (EW), RJ City would explain why the show had been canceled, citing two reasons from Tony Khan.

“Welcome to Hey! (EW). I am RJ City, and my guest is nobody, because this is the final episode. Why? Multiple reasons. One, once Tony Khan found out he was actually paying for the show and it was not a WBD college-credited internship like I initially claimed, he pulled the plug faster than you could say Rampage. I guess a sign and two mugs is too much for the budget. Oh, and he also told me the reason I don’t have an All Elite graphic is because if he officially employed me, then he would be held liable for the things that happened to me on this show. Shrewd move, TK. Two. We’ve come to the end of the guest list. We are down to the nos and the assholes and many of them are both. Now, I’m not going to name names or out icons. I’m just going to say this is your legacy now. I hope this follows you for the rest of your life and I pray that 25 years from now, when you try to do a panel at a star cast at Massapequa, the only question is, ‘hey, why’d you never do hey?’ Who would have thought it would be so hard to get wrestlers to do interviews where the questions aren’t who trained you and who’s on your Mount Rushmore? But I am proud of the people we did get on this show, people from different backgrounds and different countries and different companies, and even David Arquette, who’s not really from anything anymore. I’m also happy we were able to end the show before we had to have Ian Riccaboni on. That guy’s a real piece of shit. You could talk about anything on this show, too. Nothing was off limits, except Saudi Arabia, just in case I need to work there a couple years from now.”
