Upon signing with All Elite Wrestling last year and debuting at AEW All In 2024, he would initially debut for the promotion as a babyface. However, before long, he would begin to showcase a new character on the heel side. One trait that the former WWE name has brought to his heel character is his obnoxious ‘ah-HA!’ laugh that he has used to troll other AEW stars in promos, primarily backstage.
While speaking during the post AEW All Out press conference following the event on September 20th, Fightful’s Joel Pearl would ask Ricochet if his laugh was something he had taken from Jadakiss. Ricochet would state that while he was aware of it, the laugh was actually taken from a family member according to the leader of ‘The Demand’.
“Short answer, no. I was aware of it before, but I actually stole that from a family member that does it in our family a lot. When he’s either embarrassed or a joke doesn’t land, he’ll go, ‘Ah-ha’ and just leave. I stole it from him. It’s mine now.”
