Ricochet: Everyone In AEW Is Trying To Make The Show The Best The Show Can Be

Ricochet comments on how everyone in AEW tries to make the show the best the show can possibly be.

Since signing with AEW ahead of AEW All In 2024, the high flying star has developed his character following a heel turn, and is the current AEW National Champion.

While speaking to the Mega Powers podcast in an interview posted two weeks ago, Ricochet was asked what about AEW allows him to explore his character’s personality.

“I don’t know. I guess Tony (Khan). I mean, I guess Tony. He’s the one that runs everything, so he’s the one that allows everything. I mean, yeah, he’s the one that’s just allowed me to express my own creative views, and for the most part, thankfully, he’s liked everything that I have pitched or whatever, gave my opinion on something even. Because, again, I’m a guy- give me some direction, we’ll execute it. We’ll work together along the way to make it, whatever, but give me direction and we’ll execute it. Of course, I’ll pitch stuff whenever I think of something, oh, maybe like this. But for the most part, tell me what to do, and he’s just been great at letting me get my own two cents. But I’ve had a lot of people, it’s not just been me, a lot of people have been like, you should do this, or you should try that, and blah, blah, blah. Like, oh, this is great, and I take from everybody, you know what I’m saying? So I’ve gotten real thankful. So it’s kind of been like a collaborative thing to help, you know. Again, it’s whatever’s good for the show. We’re trying to just make the show better. No one’s trying to go out for themselves. Everyone’s trying to make the show the best the show can be.”
