Ricky Saints Returns To NXT To Exact Revenge On Ethan Page Following Larynx Injury
Ricky Saints makes his return to NXT to seek vengeance against Ethan Page after suffering a larynx injury.
Ricky Saints lost the NXT North American Championship to Ethan Page during the May 27 WWE NXT episode. In the match, Saints suffered a Twisted Grin maneuver from Ethan, causing his throat to hit the crossbar of a chair. During the June 3 episode of WWE NXT, it was revealed that Ricky sustained a laryngeal contusion. A CT scan image of Ricky was shared, and further updates on his condition would be provided as they were available.
However, no further updates were needed as Saints returned to NXT on June 10, attacking Ethan Page after his successful NXT North American Title defense over Sean Legacy.

The rivals brawled to the back as Ethan tried to get away from Ricky. Later on in the show, it was mentioned that Ricky had been medically cleared, yet he couldn’t even speak. Consequently, WWE NXT GM Ava instructed him to go home until he was cleared.
