Ricky Saints Comments On NXT Title Win: “The Absolute Era Truly Begins”
The new NXT Champion Ricky Saints.
In the main event of WWE NXT’s No Mercy Premium Live Event, Ricky Saints bested Oba Femi to become the new NXT Champion.
He ended Oba’s reign, which started in January of 2025. After Saints’ title win, footage was posted onto WWE’s socials of NXT overseer Shawn Michaels congratulating the new champion, and Saints gave his first comments. He said the following:
“What a wild ride so far, and you know, I’m not one to be at a loss for words but, tonight’s different. Tonight is very, very special. So tonight is a culmination of things that I didn’t think was possible, but I made it so, and not just me; people who supported me, people who believed in me, fans, everybody, and now, the Absolute Era truly begins.”
Next up for Femi is NXT-TNA Invasion on October 7th. He’ll be challenging Trick Williams for the TNA World Championship.
