Rick Link Transferred To Hospice Care, GoFundMe Launched

An unfortunate update on Rick Link.

A GoFundMe page has been launched for former wrestler Rick Link. The page was set up by his sister as Link was being transferred to hospice care. Below is the write-up from the GoFundMe page:

I am Rick Links sister. We are raising money for his funeral. He is going to hospice tomorrow and life saving measures will be discontinued including his dialysis. Please pray for him that his transition will be peaceful. and he will not be in pain anymore. Thank you guys a lot. He has many fans and friends who know and love him from all his many years of being a professional wrestler. He loves his friends and fans fiercely. He loves the Lord with his whole heart and is already saying he is ready to go home to Jesus.
Link competed in the ring, trained, and was a promoter. He wrestled for the National Wrestling Alliance across Canada and the United States. Link was involved in the feud between Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler and entertainer/performer Andy Kaufman.
Link competed for Georgia Championship Wrestling, Jim Crockett Promotions, and Stampede Wrestling. He is 66 years of age and last wrestled in 2023.
Fightful would like to extend our well wishes to the family, friends, and loved ones of Rick Link.
