Ric Flair, Jim Ross, Billy Corgan, More Pay Tribute To Bob Caudle

The wrestling world lost Bob Caudle on November 16th, who passed away at the age of 95.

Caudle started with Jim Crockett Promotions in the late 1950s and was the voice of Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling.

Following his passing, many of his peers paid tribute.

Ric Flair wrote, “Bob Caudle Was A Great Friend, And Someone Who Helped Me Develop My Interview Skills. You Were A Great Man Bob, And You Will Be Remembered Forever As One Of The Greatest Announcers Of All Time. I Cherish All The Time That I Got To Spend With You. Rest In Peace My Dear Friend!”

Jim Ross posted, “I’m so sad to hear of Bob Caudle’s passing. He was a wonderful man and a great broadcaster. Loved hlm.”

NWA owner Billy Corgan wrote, “‘I’m deeply saddened to hear about the passing of NWA legend Bob Caudle, whose voice and no nonsense style defined what we continue to seek each day in today’s NWA: integrity, conviction, honor. I was blessed to speak to Bob on the phone a few years back and tell him personally how much he means to all of us. May God embrace him and his family in Love’ – WPC”

Many promotions also issued statements, including AEW, MLW, and the NWA.

Fightful sends condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Caudle.
