Report: Cody Rhodes In Talks To Portray Guile In ‘Street Fighter’

A potential new role for Cody Rhodes. 

Nexus Point News reports that Cody Rhodes is in talks to portray Guile in “Street Fighter.” 

Jean-Claude Van Damme portrayed Guile in the 1994 “Street Fighter” film. 

Guile is known for his flat-top haircut, “Sonic Boom” attack, and iconic theme song. He is a colonel in the United States Air Force and a family man. 

Rhodes already has an upcoming role in “The Naked Gun” reboot. 

Roman Reigns already has a role in “Street Fighter,” portraying Akuma. 

On WWE television, Rhodes won the 2025 King of the Ring tournament, defeating Jey Uso in the finals. Rhodes will challenge John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE SummerSlam.
