Ren Narita captured the NEVER Openweight Title at NJPW New Beginning in Osaka, defeating Aaron Wolf.

Before the match, HOUSE OF TORTURE attacked Wolf. After the match began, the referee was knocked down, and the attack by HOT continued.

Narita took advantage of the trademark HOT interference by defeating Wolf in just over two minutes.

This marks the first reign as NEVER Openweight Champion for Narita. Wolf’s reign lasted 38 days. He won the title from EVIL at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20 in his debut match. He made zero successful title defenses.
