RAF2 is officially confirmed.
Real American Freestyle’s first event took place on August 30th in Cleveland, Ohio. Coming off the heels of the debut show, the promotion marked the date and location for the second RAF event.
RAF2 is scheduled for November 8th at Penn State University’s Rec Hall. Real American Freestyle wrestlers Bo Nickal, Aaron Brooks, and Beau Barlett all wrestled for Penn State.
The venue has a capacity of 6,502.
At RAF1, there was a confrontation between Tito Ortiz and Chael Sonnen. Ortiz threw out the challenge to Sonnen for RAF 2, and it was accepted. Ortiz and Sonnen fought at Bellator 170, and Ortiz submitted Sonnen in the first round.
Real American Freestyle was co-founded by the late Terry Bollea a.k.a. Hulk Hogan. Eric Bischoff is working with the promotion as its Chief Marketing Officer.
