Raven Believes He Should’ve Been A Strong Mid-Carder Or Main Eventer In WWE

Raven believes that he was underutilized in WWE.
After departing ECW in the summer of 2000, Raven made his return to WWE and almost immediately entered the Hardcore Championship scene. Despite staying with the company until early 2003, many fans will argue that Raven was primarily wasted in the lower mid-card. As a matter of fact, after Survivor Series 2001, the veteran was omitted from pay-per-view action.
Speaking with Chris Van Vliet for a new interview, Raven said that the company should’ve pushed him at the time.
“They should have pushed me. They didn’t really push me at all. I should have been used, at least as a strong mid-carder, if not a main eventer. But that’s me. I mean, I could be biased, and I’m sure I am, but looking at it objectively, I think I could have drawn money for them.”
Raven’s new documentary, ‘Nevermore: The Raven Effect’, is now available to rent or buy on Amazon Prime and Apple TV.
