Randy Savage’s Cat Junkyard Cat Is Still Alive And Well
Before he passed in 2011, “Macho Man” Randy Savage adopted a cat and named it Junkyard Cat.
Instagram account Machoverse shared an update on JYC, writing that the cat is still alive and doing well. A recent photo of JYC was also shared.
Macho Man’s cat, Junkyard Cat, is still alive and well! Here’s an archive article from 2016 when Randy rescued a special needs cat in 2005! He named his cat after his good friend Junkyard Dog but called her Junkyard Cat instead! Randy’s estate has provided me with a recent photo of JYC from this year!

News of Randy Savage adopting a cat was first shared by his brother Lanny Poffo in 2016.
Poffo posted at the time, “Randy rescued a one-armed kitty about six months before he died. His wife still owns the cat who was named JYC, in honor of his fallen friend, JYD (Junkyard Dog)”
