Randy Orton throws his name in the hat to possibly play Batman in James Gunn’s DC cinematic universe.

James Gunn has relaunched the DC Cinematic Universe, with movies such as The Suicide Squad and Superman launching the universe in recent years, with John Cena featuring as the character Peacemaker. Now, another WWE legend would like to feature as another major hero in Gunn’s universe.

In a new social media post, Randy Orton responded to a post asking who fans believe should play Batman in Gunn’s universe, seemingly throwing his name in the hat for the role.

Cena’s Peacemaker would debut in The Suicide Squad before featuring in his own series on HBO Max.

Following WWE Evolution this past week, Triple H noted that Orton is looking forward to working with singer Jelly Roll at WWE SummerSlam later this year. You can read more about that here.
