R-Truth says the Ron Killings Storyline went where it was supposed to go.
At Money In The Bank 2025, R-Truth would return to WWE after previously announcing that the company were letting him go when his contract with the company expired over the Summer. Truth would attack the then heel John Cena, soon after reverting to his Ron Killings name and shaved his head on an episode of WWE Monday Night RAW.
While speaking to SHAK Wrestling, R-Truth was asked about the Ron Killings character and where he hoped it would go.
“Where it went to. It went where it was supposed to go to. The Ron Killings (character) was created, he created R-Truth. You see what I’m saying? So it’s like those hundreds of millions of fans that spoke, that uproar, that they wanted R-Truth back. Ron Killings was the rebellion, the one that spoke up for R-Truth. Ron has been Ron the Truth Killings, Ron Killings has been around for years. People grew up, like, generations. They never came together and locked it, like, they did that for R-Truth. You feel me? So I wanted Ron Killings to go where he was supposed to go. He made the statement. He had the eyes on him and just like with storylines, when John Cena came back, R-Truth came back. Ron Killings just led the cavalry. That’s all that was.”
Elsewhere in another recent interview, Truth spoke about how Nick Khan reached out to him in the wake of his WWE departure. You an read more about that here.
