Powerhouse Hobbs Touts His Physical State, ‘I’m In The Best Shape Of My Life’
Powerhouse Hobbs is in the best shape of his life.
Hobbs has been on a tear since returning to the ring in November 2024, defeating big names like Big Bill, Wheeler Yuta, and Mark Davis along the way.
In April 2025, Hobbs, Samoa Joe, and Katsuyori Shibata captured the AEW World Trios Championships, defeating the Death Riders for the titles.
Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp during AEW All In Texas weekend, Hobbs touted his current physical and mental state.
“I’m good. Physically, I’m in the best shape of my life. Mentally, I’m great.”
Hobbs also spoke about replacing HOOK in The Opps, leading to his big title victory alongside Samoa Joe and Katsuyori Shibata back in April.
“I’ve learned in this business, you just need to be ready on the drop of a dime. We know this wasn’t really supposed to happen. I filled in for my little brother HOOK. Things happen.”
