Powerhouse Hobbs Talks Relationship With Jon Moxley, Says They Still Have Unfinished Business
Powerhouse Hobbs discusses his relationship with Jon Moxley.
Since joining AEW back in 2020, Powerhouse Hobbs has shared a ton of moments with Moxley, including two singles matches in 2024 and 2025.
Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp during a recent interview, Powerhouse Hobbs compared his standing with Moxley to a brotherly relationship. Hobbs was also sure to note that he has some unfinished business with the former AEW World Champion.
“It’s almost like an older brother-big brother relationship. We do have some unfinished business. There are things that were supposed to happen earlier in my career with the match with me, him, and Darby. Due to COVID, it didn’t happen. Some people got COVID. It’s one of those relationships where when we have to go at it, we’ll go at it. There is still some unfinished business.”
Hobbs, Samoa Joe, and Katsuyori Shibata took the AEW World Trios Championships from Jon Moxley and the Death Riders back in April.
Elsewhere in the interview, Hobbs talked about physicality in wrestling, saying that he likes to be hit hard. Check out his full stance on the matter by clicking here.
