Paul Walter Hauser Cast In Zach Cregger’s ‘Resident Evil’
Paul Walter Hauser scores another role.
The world of wrestling will be clashing with the world of zombies in 2026, as Deadline is reporting that Paul Walter Hauser has joined the cast of Zach Cregger’s upcoming ‘Resident Evil’ adaptation. Hauser is the second name to join the cast after Austin Abrams.
The film is set to hit theaters on September 18, 2026. This will be Cregger’s follow up to his recent ‘Weapons’ movie, which was a smash hit that has grossed over $250M worldwide. Abrams also stars in that film, which opened in theaters back in August.
This news comes in the middle of Hauser’s insane movie run, as he has appeared in a ton of 2025 films like ‘The Naked Gun’, ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’, ‘The Luckiest Man in America’, and ‘Americana’. Hauser’s next picture, ‘Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere’, will open in theaters on October 24.
On the wrestling side, Paul Walter Hauser has been just as busy, most recently competing in a Fight With Honor match against QT Marshall at ROH Death Before Dishonor. Hauser has also wrestled for other promotions like ACTION Wrestling, PROGRESS Wrestling, DEFY Wrestling, and Major League Wrestling throughout 2025.
