Paul Ellering Feels WWE Writers Could’ve Done More With Final Testament, Praises Karrion Kross & Scarlett

He added praise for Kross and Scarlett.
Before AOP (Akam & Rezar) and Paul Ellering’s latest run with WWE came to an end in February 2025, they were part of The Final Testament faction with Karrion Kross and Scarlett.
The group was together for a full year before disbanding. In an interview with THE HANNIBAL TV, Ellering expressed his opinion that the WWE writers could have done more with the group. He then went on to speak highly of Kross and Scarlett.
“No, I didn’t think it did either,” Ellering said about The Final Testament not reaching its full potential in WWE. “I thought the writers could have done more with it. There was a lot to do, especially with The Wyatt Family and the timing was right. It just never got the push that it deserved, and Karrion (Kross), he’s a tremendous talent, very good on the mic and Scarlett and him make a good combination, great pair and they’ll do well in the business no matter what they do, because there’s a lot of talent there.”
Kross and Scarlett are no longer with the company either, as their respective contracts have expired. Kross spoke about that, and to read his comments, click here.
In this same media appearance, Ellering shared that AOP is ‘very interested’ in continuing in the wrestling business.
