Ortiz Thinks He Will Eventually Be Back On AEW TV, ‘That’s Out Of My Control At The Moment’

Fans haven’t seen Ortiz on AEW television since early 2024 when he was teaming alongside Eddie Kingston.
Ortiz was a staple of AEW TV during the early days of Dynamite, teaming with Mike Santana as part of The Inner Circle.
Speaking on Wombreezy, Ortiz was asked for his goals in 2026.
“I think eventually I’ll be back on AEW television. That’s out of my control at the moment. I’m still able to stay fresh and do independents. Keep doing as much independents as possible. Go over to England, Mexico, Canada, and maybe go to Japan and do it for a week if I can work that out. Just become a better wrestler and performer, and get back on television. Put into action all the work I’ve been doing and change people’s perceptions,” He said.
Ortiz has been working as a producer and coach in AEW.
Elsewhere during the interview, Ortiz revealed he has about a year left on his AEW contract. You can find his full comments here.
