Orange Cassidy Says He Didn’t Tell Sting About Kick Spots In 2021 Exchange, ‘Sting Just Did It’
On the March 22, 2023 episode of AEW Dynamite, Darby Allin, Orange Cassidy & Sting teamed up to take on the trio of Kip Sabian, The Butcher, and The Blade. The match featured many funny spots, with Sting often replicating Orange Cassidy and his mannerisms at times.
Speaking to Adam Barnard of Sportster, Orange Cassidy reiterated that the spots were Sting’s idea.
“I didn’t tell Sting anything, and Sting just did it. So that’s another person that we’re very fortunate enough to have in our locker room. He made our locker room better. He was a great leader, and for him to play with me was an honor. I didn’t tell him to do anything. He’s the one who did it. Blame him. Blame him for that,” he said.
Kip Sabian previously told Fightful that the spots were Sting’s idea.
