Orange Cassidy Originally Wanted To Put His Broken Sunglasses Back On After Using Them As A Weapon In Blood And Guts, Did Not As They Were Broken Beyond Repair

Orange Cassidy discusses using his sunglasses as a weapon at Blood And Guts.

On last week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy would feature as part of the Men’s Blood And Guts match, coming into the match second. Once Cassidy got into the ring, he would break his sunglasses before using them to stab Wheeler Yuta repeatedly in the head. However, the plan didn’t go all to plan for the former International Champion.

While speaking to Adrian Hernandez in a new interview, Cassidy shared that he got the idea walking to the ring, but wanted to put the sunglasses back on after the attack.

“Yeah, I was literally walking to the ring and I was like, oh, you just standing there. I should stab him with something. So I didn’t have anything on me. I did have my sunglasses. It felt good. It felt pretty good. I wanted to put them back on after I did it, but I broke them beyond repair.”
