NXT’s Stacks Captures TNA International Championship At Final Resolution

For TNA, the unthinkable has happened once again. Steve Maclin has been through a lot in his career, but the numbers game and a cane got the best of him at Final Resolution. Now, the two-time TNA International Champion is no more as NXT’s Stacks captured TNA gold.

With Lexis King in his corner, it took a cane shot while the referee was distracted to take Maclin down. The former two time NXT Tag Team Champion may have needed help to get the job done, but Stacks put an end to Maclin’s second reign as International Champion which lasted just 55 days.

Earlier in the night, Mike Santana kicked off the show with a win over NXT’s Charlie Dempsey. Knowing The Hardy’s are set to defend their TNA Tag Team Championships later in the night against High Ryze, it’s only a matter of time before NXT could bring home even more of TNA’s gold.
