Tenryu’s celebration.

November 15th, 2015, is the date that three-time AJPW Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion Genichiro Tenryu wrapped up his in-ring career.

In his final match, he faced Kazuchika Okada and fell in defeat in a 17-minute bout. He is going to be celebrating the 10th anniversary of his retirement with a show on November 4th at Korakuen Hall.

One of the bouts on the card will feature New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Shota Umino and Shingo Takagi. They’ll be on opposite sides of a tag team match as Takagi will team with Kengo against Umino and Koji Iwamoto.

Kengo has been wrestling for 16 years. He’s made his way through ZERO1, Michinoku Pro, FREEDOMS, and he’s competed for the Tenryu Project promotion since 2020.

Koji Iwamoto is a 12-year veteran. He’s competed for NOAH, All Japan, GLEAT, Big Japan, and DDT Pro-Wrestling.
