NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19 – IWGP World Heavyweight Title – Zack Sabre Jr vs. Shota Umino Result
Zack Sabre Jr retained the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19, defeating Shota Umino.
ZSJ was able to put Shota away with a Gotch-style piledriver followed by a Sabre driver.
ZSJ worked on Shota’s ankle throughout the match, and Shota was unable to charge at ZSJ at the end of the bout, leading to ZSJ hitting a Zack driver. Though Shota kicked out, ZSJ closed the show shortly after.
