Nixon Newell appears at MPX.
On August 9th, Metroplex Wrestling would present their ‘Who Runs The World?’ event. In the main event of the show, Abadon would face off with MPX Women’s Champion Reiza Clarke. The former AEW name would come away with the victory in the main event, but their night was not quite over after the match.
Following the bout, Nixon Newell (formerly Tegan Nox) would make an appearance at the event, confronting and staring down the new MPX women’s champion before exiting the ring and gesturing that she would be coming after the title.

Since leaving WWE in November 2024 following her release from the company, Newell has faced several challenges, none more so than the perception amongst some fans that she is ‘injury prone’. Nixon has emphatically fought against this perception. Last month, Newell would take aim at those people who call her injury prone, noting that the people who do couldn’t lace up her wrestling boots.
