Nick Wayne Suffers Broken Foot, Pulled From AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door Card
Nick Wayne won’t be at Forbidden Door.
Wayne appeared via video on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, revealing that he won’t be at the Forbidden Door event due to a broken foot that he suffered at the hands of Copeland on the August 13 edition of Dynamite.
After revealing his plans to ruin Copeland and Cage’s reunion, Wayne still had a surprise for Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, sparking the shocking return of Luchasaurus.
Luchasaurus hit the ring to a massive reaction, delivering a chokeslam to Copeland in the process. After some slight hesitation, Luchasaurus also took out Cage with a separate chokeslam to end the segment.

Moments later, Luchasaurus was confirmed as the replacement for Nick Wayne replacement in the tag team match at Forbidden Door.
