Headlining the July 25, 2025, edition of CMLL Viernes Espectacular was the 2025 finals of the Leyenda de Plata Tournament between Neón and Máscara Dorada.
After a dynamic but heated bout between the two members of Sky Team, Neón ended up with the upset victory over Máscara Dorada with an Inside Swanton Bomb.
This is Neón’s first time winning the tournament & his second tournament win of his career. He & Dorada embraced after the bout.

“All this has been with a lot of work and sacrifice. It was seen that despite being great friends, we gave ourselves everything, and we both had the clear objective of winning the Silver Legend. Today, the whole audience of Arena Mexico left happy, and they will remember this fight. They will remember it forever,” said Neón in his comments backstage after the show when speaking with the press.
