Naomi Addresses Cardi B Ahead Of WWE SummerSlam: “She Better Hope She Don’t Run Into Me At MetLife”

Naomi speaks about Cardi’s involvement with SummerSlam.

Scheduled to host night one of WWE SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, is Grammy Award-winning rapper Cardi B.

Going into the event, the reigning WWE Women’s World Champion Naomi was interviewed by Us Weekly and addressed Cardi in character. She then went on to speak about loving the celebrity crossovers.

“She better hope she don’t run into me at MetLife. She’s been talking real crazy and reckless and I don’t like that.

I love the mainstream crossovers. I love when we can bring in different, amazing artists and performers into our world and share our fan bases. We all just come together in this experience of wrestling, which I think is what makes wrestling so cool. Wrestling touches everyone around the world.”

Naomi is scheduled to defend her Women’s World Title on night two of SummerSlam in a Triple Threat match against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY.
