MVP: I Don’t Have An Issue With Mike Bailey, He’s One Of The Nicest Guys Around

A report was published in August indicating heat between MVP and “Speedball” Mike Bailey in AEW.

The report stated that MVP didn’t want The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) to lose the AEW Tag Team Titles to JetSpeed (Bailey & Kevin Knight). Bailey and MVP filmed a backstage segment for Bailey’s vlog where they said “Fuck you” to each other, playing off the report.

Speaking on his Marking Out podcast, MVP was asked about the report about disliking Bailey.

“First things first, at no point did I ever say that I dislike “Speedball” Mike Bailey. I don’t have an issue with Speedball. We work together, we see each other, we shake hands, and we keep it moving. There is no issue there. I don’t have any problems with any of the talent that I work with at AEW. Mike Bailey is one of the nicest guys around. I don’t have a problem with him,” he said.

MVP explained that he doesn’t like dirtsheets, notably match ratings or the opinions of one person.

MVP, Lashley, and Shelton are set to challenge The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, & Katsuyori Shibata) for the AEW Trios Titles on AEW Dynamite.
