At TNA Slammiversary on July 20th, Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali would roll back the years to their rivalry in WWE in singles competition. During the course of the bout, Ali would look to hit a suicide dive to the outside on Alexander, but due to a miscalculation, Ali would end up landing head first on the metal ramp. Ali would get back up and complete the match, and now has updated fans on how he’s doing after the scary bump.
In a new social media post on Monday morning, Ali would respond to a fan criticizing the talent on the outside during his match with Alexander for not catching him, with Mustafa noting that he is the the only one to blame for his ugly landing at the pay-per-view. He would note that the talent did what they were supposed to do.
Appreciate everyone’s concern.
Unfortunately, I have to pull the curtain back here because the talent ringside was absolutely not responsible for that scary fall in any way and they are getting all the blame. They did exactly what they were instructed to do.
