Mustafa Ali Hopes The Look Of TNA Is Different On AMC

Mustafa Ali wants TNA to change up their look on AMC.

As of publish time, TNA is just one week away from debuting on the AMC network. This change will be huge for the promotion, which hasn’t been on a major network in over a decade.

Speaking with Denise Salcedo for a new interview, Ali talked about some of the changes that he’d like to see as TNA transitions to a new network.

“I’m an old school kid, one of the biggest things I loved about major events were the unique sets. I still remember like if they’re overseas in Europe, there’s like a phone booth, the British and that whole vibe. Themed sets, those cost so much money, I get it. I don’t know how much AMC is shelling out [laughs].”

Ali continued on and said that he likes when shows aren’t predictable.

“I think it’s cool when you tune in and it’s not predictable. I don’t mind advertised matches for sure, I like stories like that but when you come in and the set is different or the mood is different or the ropes are different, it’s kind of cool. It’s gotta be special, it’s gotta mean something for sure, but I think that would be a really really cool aspect.”

To finish the topic, Ali said that he thinks TNA will hit a home run with the changes.

“I’m just a big production nerd, so I’m interested, is AMC loaning out some production equipment? What’s going on, are we going to have different cams? All in all, I hope the look is different but without a doubt, I think TNA is gonna hit a home run with this.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Mustafa Ali touched on his horse spot with Elijah at TNA Final Resolution. Fans can check out his full comments here.
