More Information On Injury To Piper Niven

Fightful Select reports that Piper Niven suffered a neck injury, but those who Fightful Select has spoken to are hopeful for an eventual return.

On September 20, Chelsea Green alerted fans that Niven was out on a “top secret special assignment.” Niven last wrestled on the August 22nd episode of WWE SmackDown, defeating Charlotte Flair. She and Alba Fyre were scheduled to challenge Charlotte & Alexa Bliss for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles a week later, but Niven was not cleared to compete.
