Three matches are set for the special.
The next special on the docket for TNA Wrestling is Emergence on August 15th. It is taking place at Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, and will air on the TNA+ app.
Coming out of the 7/31 edition of TNA iMPACT, three matches have been set for the show. In the main event, there was a tag match that saw The System (Moose & Eddie Edwards) take on A.J. Francis and TNA World Champion Trick Williams. The conclusion of the bout saw K.C. Navarro accidentally hit Williams with his crutch, which led to Edwards and Moose capitalizing and Moose pinning Edwards. Moose is now set to challenge Williams for the belt at Emergence.
Leon Slater successfully defended his X Division Championship on the 7/31 program in a three-way featuring Jason Hotch and Cedric Alexander. Slater pinned Hotch to retain, and at Emergence, he’ll defend against Alexander.
A backstage interview with Sami Callihan took place, and he pondered his in-ring future. Callihan is facing doubt after Moose berated him and body shamed him in the ring on the 7/17 TNA iMPACT. Callihan spoke highly of Mike Santana and said he wants to match up against his friend at Emergence. Callihan said if he cannot get the job done against Santana, maybe he should leave his boots in the ring at Emergence.
