Earlier this week on AEW Dynamite, Brody King and Max would face off in a title eliminator match, with MJF becoming distracted when Hangman Page made his presence known. Brody King would take advantage, defeating the world champion in a couple of minutes and earning a title shot at AEW Grand Slam Australia later this month.
While speaking to You Better You Bet in a new interview, MJF suggested that he will defeat Brody King in one minute because his eye will be on the ball this time around.
“I think this match against Brody King at Grand Slam Australia… is going to be an all-timer, and I think it’s going to be an all-timer because I think I might beat this guy in one minute. I really do. I really do. I think I’m going to beat him in one minute with my eye on that ball.”
