MJF talks Bad Bunny's love for pro wrestling.
MJF talks working with Bad Bunny on the set of Happy Gilmore 2.
Both MJF and Bad Bunny start in Netflix’s sequel to the comedy classic. For Max, he takes the role of one of Happy’s children and for Bunny, he would play Happy’s (Adam Sandler), caddy.
While speaking to Liam Crowley for Coffee Chats with Screen Rant, MJF spoke about having the chance to work with Bad Bunny and discussed how they talked wrestling on the set.
“Me and Bad Bunny, we just shot the shit about wrestling every day. He’s the coolest dude ever. Super down to earth. Super awesome.”
Max was then asked if Bunny had seen his work in the ring, which he confirmed that the music star had.
“Yeah, and I’ve seen his. He loves wrestling. He was telling me shit about my matches in great detail. I’m like, ‘This is wild.’”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Max spoke about why he removed his scarf for his vicious promo on Tony Khan in the wake of AEW Double Or Nothing 2023. You can read more about that here.
