Throughout their years long feud against one another in All Elite Wrestling, Hangman Page has been viewed as the main character of AEW, which has become infuriating to MJF. After MJF lost to Page at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, it seems Max is missing the days where he was the main character, like at AEW All In 2023. At the first All In event at Wembley Stadium, Max would both kick off and close the show on that night. First, he and Adam Cole would defeat Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis) to win the Ring Of Honor World Tag Team Titles. Then, ‘Better Than You Baybay’ would close out the show as MJF would defeat Cole to retain his AEW World Title.
In a new social media post on August 27th, MJF noted that on this day in 2023, at AEW All In, he was the main character.

At AEW x NJPW, Hangman Page would defeat MJF to retain the AEW World Title, despite Max’s efforts to cheat Page out of the belt. You can read more about that here.
