MJF Responds To Ronda Rousey’s WWE Booking Criticism: Wrestling Is A Business

Maxwell Jacob Friedman understands that pro wrestling is a business.

MJF has always recognized the business side of professional wrestling. That’s why he believes he came out on top during “The Bidding War of 2024,” when he was negotiating with AEW and could have possibly moved to WWE. However, not everyone views professional wrestling through Maxwell’s eyes.

Recently, Ronda Rousey shared her frustration with WWE’s booking of her to feud with Alexa Bliss in 2018, as Bliss was a top star because of her high merchandise sales. MJF saw these comments on X and responded, feigning surprise that the wrestling industry would be treated as a business, like most sports.
