Místico: Patrimony Is Never Inherited, It Is Always Worked Upon
Místico had some words to say on the 9/16 Martes de Arena Mexico ahead of the CMLL 92 Anniversary on 9/19.
CMLL hosted “Martes de Arena Mexico” on 9/16 to celebrate Mexican Independence Day.
Sky Team facing Guerreros Laguneros in a 2/3 Falls Trios Match headlined the show.
After a dynamic bout, Sky Team (Místico, Neón, and Máscara Dorada) took the victory.
After the match, the King of Silver & Gold spoke to the crowd in a promo regarding CMLL getting the “Hecho En Mexico” stamp.
He said the following:
“My friends, I want to show off something that the World Wrestling Council has achieved: we are now a brand “Hecho En Mexico”. Remember, patrimony is never inherited; It is always worked upon, just as we work every day. And we don’t work either. We do what we love, which is wrestling, and remember that the best wrestling in the world is Mexican wrestling. Day after day, CMLL works hard, strives to bring out the best, and today you can see the results with one of the best mascots, KeMonito. For me, it is a great honor and a great pleasure to be the godfather of two greats, Neón and Máscara Dorada.
Because remember, today is about making a difference, and you make that difference you. There are wrestlers, refreshment vendors, ushers, staff members, and programming personnel, like my boss, Don Salvador (Lutteroth Lomeli). A great referee like El Guero Noriega. Great teachers like Tony Salazar, but remember that this “Hecho En Mexico” brand was achieved by all of you people. It is an honor and a gift from God to belong to the best company, the World Wrestling Council.
Because this Friday, September 19, we celebrate 92 years of blessed wrestling in our country, and Arena Mexico will have the biggest party. God bless you all, have a safe trip home, and thank you, Arena Mexico.”
The King of Silver & Gold will challenge MJF for the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Title on the 92 Anniversary show.
Additionally, he will also compete at MLW Slaughterhouse on 10/14 in the 2025 Opera Cup Quarter Finals against Último Guerrero.
