Mike Santana Wants To Defend TNA World Championship Against AJ Styles

Styles’ name is on Santana’s bucket list.

Mike Santana has expressed in previous media appearances that it is on his bucket list to face AJ Styles in a TNA ring. Now that Santana is the new TNA World Champion, he wants to defend the title against Styles. He said the following while guest appearing on The Stunner:

“Honestly, I have one dream match left. I’ve been thankful and blessed enough in my career to have worked with some amazing people and a lot of guys that I grew up watching and idolizing. But the one guy that’s left is AJ Styles. Yeah, and I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, I wanna wrestle AJ Styles one-on-one in a TNA ring for the world title.”

Styles returned to TNA at Slammiversary and had an in-ring segment with X Division Champion Leon Slater. Styles is set to retire in 2026.
