Mick Foley Teases ‘Disappearing Into The Night’ After 2028 Farewell Tour To Celebrate 30 Years Of Hell In A Cell
Mick Foley says he plans to go on tour one final time in 2028 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his hellacious Hell in a Cell match with The Undertaker at WWE King of the Ring 1998.
Mick Foley is currently participating in a 40 Years of Foley spoken word tour, sharing stories from his wrestling career. In the past, he has gone on tours speaking specifically about the legendary Hell in a Cell match he had with The Undertaker at WWE King of the Ring 1998. Now, he says he wants to embark on one final tour in 2028, celebrating 30 years since that match, and after that, well, he might get his teeth fixed, start wearing nicer clothes, and completely remove himself from the spotlight.
“The only reason I don’t fix the teeth now is they are a reminder of that night,” he told D-Von Dudley in the latest video on Dudley’s YouTube channel. “I love being here in your gym and seeing all the mementos around me. I love houses where guys have other stuff, but I don’t really have a wrestling house. What I do have is my smile.
“I thought now that I’m 60, maybe I’ll fix it. I might wait until I’m 63. 30 years of Hell. I’m going to go back out on the road again for one final tour in 2028 for the 30 Years of Hell Tour, and the idea is to hang it up completely, fix my teeth, maybe start wearing nice clothes so no one knows who I am, and just disappear into the night.”
In the past, Mick Foley had talked about the possibility of Britt Baker helping him fix his teeth.
Mick has also reflected in the past on ideas he had to follow up that legendary moment with Undertaker a decade later. Learn more here.
