Mercedes Mone Realizes Kanji Holds A Championship, Kanji Hides Resurgence Championship With Towel And Changes Subject

Mercedes Mone and Kanji have a moment when Mercedes realized Kanji holds a title.

During RevPro’s 13th Anniversary weekend, Mercedes would compete on both nights of the show. On night one, she would win a new championship after defeating Emersyn Jayne for the Discovery Scottish Women’s Championship.  On night two, she would team with Kanji and Dani Luna to take on The Cut Throat Collective (Alex Windsor, Nina Samuels and Safire Reed) and Luna would keep a keen eye on Mercedes’ titles during their entrance and the match itself.

While speaking in a new video covering backstage reactions from RevPro’s 13th Anniversary, Mercedes Mone would rant about Dani Luna to Kanji.

“Kanji! What the hell was that, huh? Who does Dani Luna think she is? Touching my titles? Touching these titles? I was so nice to let you guys come out and just hold the championships, make you guys believe that you could be champions one day, but she wants to stare at my titles? When did I tell you the last time I saw you, you look up, you look up, and you see these things, huh? Speaking of titles, Kanji…”

At that point, Mercedes would look at Kanji’s Resurgence Championship that was behind Kanji, who would quickly cover the championship and change the subject back to Dani Luna. The pair would then decide to go for food, but not ‘UK food’ as Mercedes put it.
