Mercedes Moné To Defend CMLL World Women’s Championship Against La Catalina At Fantasticamania Mexico
A new challenger steps up to Moné.

One of the bouts on the marquee for AEW Grand Slam at Arena México was Zeuxis defending the CMLL World Women’s Championship against Mercedes Moné.
The conclusion of the bout saw Moné score a pinfall victory over Zeuxis to add the CMLL World Women’s Title to her collection of belts.
AEW later uploaded footage of Moné backstage, and La Catalina challenged her. Moné accepted the challenge and said she’ll put her newly won championship on the line at Fantasticamania on June 20th. AEW, CMLL, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling are collaborating on that show at Arena México.

Moné is currently in possession of the CMLL World Women’s, EWA Women’s, RevPro Undisputed British Women’s, and AEW TBS Championships.
At All In on July 12th, she’ll be challenging ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship.
