Mercedes Moné Calls Out Kris Statlander For AEW Women’s World Title Match At AEW Full Gear

Moné issued the challenge to Statlander.
After Kris Statlander defeated ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm at AEW WrestleDream to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship, the current TBS Champion Mercedes Moné showed up during Statlander’s celebration. She demanded that Statlander exit the ring, and Statlander obliged.
Moné proceeded to have her open challenge, and answering the call was Interim ROH Women’s World Television Champion Mina Shirakawa. Moné bested Shirakawa to become the new Interim ROH Women’s World TV Champion.
Statlander returned to the ring after Moné’s victory, and there was a face-off. Moné took a swing at her, but Statlander ducked and laid Moné out.
Later in the show, Moné issued a challenge to Statlander for an AEW Women’s World Title match at the Full Gear pay-per-view on November 22nd. At the 2024 Full Gear event, Moné defeated Statlander to retain the TBS Championship.
