Mercedes Moné Appears At ‘Who Runs The World?’ Event, Convinces Athena To Do CEO Dance

Moné shows up to support the show and Athena.

The reigning ROH Women’s World Champion, Athena, presented her all-women’s event titled ‘Who Runs The World?’. It was held under the Metroplex Wrestling banner in Bedford, Texas.

Making a surprise appearance at the event was AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné, and she joined Athena in the ring.

After speaking about how special the event is and what it means to them and the athletes a part of it, Moné went on to encourage Athena to do the signature ‘CEO’ dance, and Athena did it before bowing out of the ring.

Both Moné and Athena will be in title matches at Forbidden Door in London. Moné will be defending her TBS Title in a four-way match, and Athena will be challenging ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship.
