Another wrestler joins the Power Slap ranks.
23-year veteran wrestler Mecha Wolf made his debut for Dana White’s Power Slap. He emerged victorious over Javi Martinez.
He wrote a lengthy post about the debut on Instagram. Mecha Wolf mentioned that there were many things he wanted to talk about at the time, but couldn’t due to contractual issues. He noted that there were friends of his who criticized him for his decision to do Power Slap. His next bout is in October in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Below is his full post:
Finally here’s my @powerslap debut. There’s so many things I wanted to talk about at the time but couldn’t because of contractual issues. I’ve always been the kind of person that shoots straight,so here it goes:
I trained for two months to get ready for this fight. They are called fights because these are sanctioned and count for your MMA record and mine I now 1-0. Watch the full fight on YouTube and see me get knocked on my butt with an ilegal blow.
I had so many “friends” criticize and make fun of me for even stepping up to the plate. People that have done nothing with their lives and still live with fear of following their dreams. Wrestling “news sites” reporting the wrong outcome for clicks and likes at my expense.
I’ve always said I will do anything to put food on my table and this is just another one of those things. I had zero fear going in cause I know what this crazy puertorican can do.
Will I try this again? Yes. My next one is October 3rd in Las Vegas. Why? Cause I ain’t no quitter.
Hopefully now all these news sites will give me my proper flowers (they won’t) but I can now finally share this experience with you all. My real friends and family.
Huge thanks to brother @sinnbodhi for having me be a part of this. I won’t let you down hermano
Thank you @erica for the opportunity as well 🙏🏿
